The Zoomies Campaign: Start with a Scan
by The Society For Animals in Distress
This project is raising funds to purchase a sonar machine for the SAID Veterinary Hospital. This life-saving technology will allow the vet team to provide modern diagnostics, detect obstructions early, and deliver accessible care to pets in poor communities.
In many poor communities, pets and domestic animals face life‑threatening conditions that go undiagnosed simply because vets don’t have the right tools. A sonar machine changes that.
With sonar, the vet team at SAID can detect obstructions early, intervene quickly, and save lives that would otherwise be lost. This fundraiser represents the last hurdle standing between us and the purchase of this life‑saving machine. Every rand raised will go directly toward equipping SAID with sonar technology, giving them the power to provide modern diagnostics, restore health, and bring pets back to their joyful zoomies.
