We’ve briefly introduced you to Fix Forward (previously known as Trade-mark), an NGO that connects skilled tradesmen with potential clients in need of their skills, and also upskills them in a number of ways. We’re excited to be partnering with Fix Forward to fundraise for two tradesmen to receive training and business exposure. Here are two testimonials on the impact Fix Forward has had on participants’ lives.
Q & A with Children in the Wilderness
We like getting to know the people behind the non-profit organisations that we partner with. Today, Dr. Sue Snyman, Regional Director of Children in the Wilderness, tells us more about running a non-profit organisation.
Inside Different
Last Friday, we welcomed friends and family of Different to our new office in Bryanston, to celebrate our move and our successes over the past year (it’s been over a year since our official launch). Part of the fun on Friday night was the exhibits that we put up, showing a few of the projects that we’ve helped our partner NGOs fundraise for.

Picture of the Week: Wildlands
We’re looking forward to seeing elephants at the community-run Somkhanda Game Reserve in Northern KwaZulu-Natal! Different.org and Wildlands Conservation Trust are partnering to fundraise for the relocation of a herd of elephants (this includes boma reinforcement, dangerous game training for staff and tracking collars for the elephants). The elephants will be relocated from Nambiti, another game reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, and will make the Somkhanda Game Reserve even more sustainable by attracting more tourists. Click below if you’d like to know more about the project.
