This project is raising funds to print and distribute a collection of seven isiZulu storybooks to 1,500 children in KwaZulu-Natal. This initiative helps children build their own home libraries, promoting early literacy and a love of reading in their mother tongue.
Imagine growing up without a single book to call your own. Every child deserves the joy of owning books in the language they speak and understand best.
We are raising funds to bring the Masifunde Sidlala ("Let's Have Fun While Reading") programme to children in KwaZulu-Natal through our new community partners. The project will provide 1,500 children with a collection of seven beautiful storybooks in isiZulu, helping them build their own home libraries and develop a love of reading in their mother tongue.
