Goal

Flying for Life wishes to raise funds to cover the cost of flights to transport volunteer healthcare professionals to Donald Fraser Hospital in the Vhembe District in Limpopo, over a period of one year. The volunteer healthcare professionals will provide crucial, skilled medical care such as cataract operations for patients who would otherwise go untreated, as they are too far from hospitals that are in a position to assist.

There are areas in Limpopo where many people live further than 7km from the nearest clinic. It is in these areas that improved health care services are required to prevent people from suffering from easily treatable conditions, including cataracts and dental issues.

Flying for Life's vision is to bring help, hope and healing to rural isolated communities in South Africa.
