This project is raising funds to help 3 exploited women on their journey from hopelessness to healing, despairing to dreaming and pain to purpose through a full rehabilitation, restoration and upskilling process. Each step of their journey has been carefully designed to bring true wholeness and to equip them to enter the mainstream workforce with confidence.
Women in the sex industry are amongst the most vulnerable in society and are in a unique and particularly volatile situation, because of the exploitation, trauma and addiction they’ve experienced. Cherished is an organisation built on the purpose of restoring and upskilling such precious women who have been through great trauma and deserve a new start. Due to a glaring lack of employable skills on their CVs, finding themselves rejected by their families and society and grappling with the aftermath of intense abuse, they have resigned to a hopeless future where dreaming brings more pain than joy… So they don’t even dare.
The Dare to Dream Project is raising funds to help 3 exploited women on their journey from hopelessness to healing, despairing to dreaming and pain to purpose through a full rehabilitation, restoration and upskilling process. Each step of their journey has been carefully designed to bring true wholeness and to equip them to enter the mainstream workforce with confidence.
