Behind the Scenes: Flying for Life Paper Planes Campaign Video

Earlier this year, Spaghetti.TV made us a few videos to launch a paper plane campaign to help raise funds for Flying for Life’s cataract operation campaign. Why paper planes? Because volunteer ophthalmologists have limited time, taking a 12 hour round trip to get to the Donald Fraser hospital in Limpopo where they volunteer isn’t ideal. Flying for Life has solved this problem by flying the volunteers to the hospital. We thought that paper planes represented this idea nicely – and everyone loves a paper plane challenge. So starting this week, we launched the paper plane challenge at Rivonia Primary School. Students will challenge each other to make and fly paper planes, and donate to the Flying for Life project in the process. We’re excited to see how they do!
