Funding Update: The Lunchbox Fund

We got to spend some time with fashion design students who are attending a course run by Rhiza Babuyile in Orange Farm, in the south of Johannesburg. Students are taught sewing, pattern-making and marketing skills. Once they’ve graduated, they will be given the opportunity to sell their garments under the Rhiza – Rooted in Africa label. We’re excited to be partnering with Rhiza Babuyile to help them raise R39,000 to help 25 township-based fashion designers start their businesses.
