We’re excited to be partnering with Ripple Reading! The organisation focuses on literacy and leadership development of children within disadvantaged communities. Learners with poor reading skills and identified behavioural problems are placed in a learning program focusing on visual, auditory and tactile perception development. Each child is also given coaching to develop themselves in the following areas: a firm identity, ethical orientation, strong social capacity, resilience to stress, and skills for successful achievement and leadership.
The Ripple Reading / Different.org project will fundraise for a qualified, retired and passionate teacher to teach children in the Ripple Reading program in Nooitgedacht Primary School, in the north of Johannesburg. More than 80 children will benefit from this programme.
