The Refilwe Community Project implements many projects simultaneously to assist the adjacent Joe Slovo community. They provide foster homes, assist in early childhood development programs, help with abandoned orphan care and run programs assisting the community to earn a living. The picture above captures three of the job development programs. As the irrigation system waters the saplings intended for selling and the plants are nourished by the produce of the worm farm, recyclers sort and separate a recent delivery of recyclable rubbish.
