Goal

This project is raising funds that will be used to protect the environment and restore polluted rivers in Atteridgeville and Saulsville, Pretoria, through community clean-ups, removing waste, and promoting recycling and environmental responsibility within the community.

Soulbent Project is a community-driven environmental and social development organisation based in Saulsville, Atteridgeville, Pretoria. Our core mission is to promote a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment while empowering local communities through active participation.

Soulbent Project NPO is raising funds to protect our environment, restore polluted rivers, and create cleaner, safer living spaces for communities in Atteridgeville and Saulsville, Pretoria. Our communities are heavily affected by illegal dumping, polluted rivers, and poor waste management, which threaten public health, the environment, and the dignity of residents.

This project will enable us to expand and strengthen our ongoing environmental cleanup work by providing essential tools, protective equipment, waste removal services, and recycling infrastructure. With adequate resources, our volunteers can work more effectively, safely, and consistently to remove waste from rivers, streets, and illegal dumping sites.

Who the Project Is For

This project directly benefits local residents, including families, children, youth, and the elderly who live near polluted rivers and dumping sites. It also supports unemployed youth and community volunteers by involving them in meaningful environmental action, skills development, and environmental education.

Schools and community groups will benefit through environmental awareness campaigns that promote responsible waste disposal, recycling, and long-term behaviour change.
