The training will include:

  • Biodiversity and conservation
  • Anti-pollution, anti-degradation, waste management and clean-up operations
  • Prevention of erosion of the environment
  • Regeneration, rehabilitation and sustainable management of the affected environment
  • Planting of indigenous plants & trees, through Arbor Day celebrations supported by the LWS
  • Youth environmental education and programmes, as conducted by the LWS

The mission of Lapalala Wilderness School is to help children and young adults to discover the value of the biodiversity of the natural world and the place within it, and to identify and nurture Africa’s future conservation champions. LWS provide Environmental Education for youth from rural and urban setting but with main focus on rural, black children.
