This project will fundraise to provide sponsorship for two tradesmen to participate in a 12-step development programme (which includes training, coaching, and mentoring) as well as provide them with access to the Fix Forward client database.
Fix Forward sees a future where tradesmen from low-income communities are recognised for exceptional service by their clients. These individuals will inspire entrepreneurship and improve their quality of life through building thriving businesses that catalyze job creation.
Fix Forward, (formerly Trade-Mark) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to connecting homeowners and businesses wanting to renovate, with hand-picked quality tradesmen. Having seen first-hand how basic marketing resources and a good reference helped a struggling tradesman friend from Diepsloot secure work, Josh Cox established Fix Forward in 2012 to help others achieve similar success.
Many skilled tradesmen from low-income communities do not have professional networks or access to effective marketing resources, and therefore struggle to secure contracts. With Fix Forward’s assistance, skilled tradesmen with initiative are able to build successful businesses by connecting with potential customers. By selecting our tradesmen through a strict screening processes and holding them accountable for delivering an exceptional service Fix Forward ensures that our clients get the very best service.

Build South Africa in such a way that people must be given a chance to learn skills, and also be taught how to become creative and so that people can be able to start big coporates and large factories in the country. And that will create more jobs.
