Over a period of one week (from 28 February to 6 March), Different.org members allocated Different Donations amounting to R51,217, to the various NGOs on Different.
This is how the Different Donations were allocated across categories:
- 33% (R17,025.08) to Education
- 23.2% (R11,892) to Poverty alleviation
- 16.9% (R8,662) to Environment-related causes
- 16.7% (R8568) to Health Care
- 9.9% (R5,069) to Job Creation
And the NGO on Different.org that received the largest total value of Different Donations over this period? A total amount of R9,729 was allocated to Hotel Hope Ministries’ project to cover the living costs of an orphaned child in their care.
