This project will fund a mobile clinic in KZN serving 3500 children for 1 year.
Funds raised for this project will be used to fund operational costs for a mobile wellness clinic, The Wellness Wagon, staffed by a professional nurse. The Wellness Wagon will be used to serve one of Starfish's community-based operations focusing on the provision of children's healthcare in KZN. The provision of accessible healthcare for children by The Wellness Wagon will help prevent child mortalities resulting from preventable childhood diseases.
In order to strengthen South Africa's health care services, Starfish has purchased a mobile clinic, the Wellness Wagon. The Wellness Wagon is based on the School Integrated Health programme, and is aimed at ensuring the physical, mental and social well-being of children to maximise their learning capabilities.

Yo Sky Runners. My run of bad luck continued for week 6. Picked up a stomach bug in Mozambique, which laid me low for most of the week. Managed only 2 runs for a total of 17 km. Desperately need four solid weeks now. In Maseru for nearly all of the next 5 weeks so hoping for more stability. Have set myself the target of 160 km for…[Read more] -
