This project is providing free trauma training to child handlers nationwide and to trauma volunteers that assists the South African Police. 

Papillion is a community based organisation in Rosettenville, Gauteng who will be running 5 trauma counselling training workshops over 3 months, in which participants will be equipped with trauma counselling skills to assist the South African Police force with first response trauma counselling.

Papillon is a community based organisation based in Rosettenville, Gauteng with its vision of  “Creating better tomorrows from the ashes of today”. Papillon runs many projects within the community centering on sustainable development of the people within the area.

In order to help the community further, Different.org is partnering with Papillon to help fund 5 workshops over a period of 3 months, in which participants will be equipped with trauma counselling skills. The workshops aim to build Trauma-Competent caregivers within the Rosettenville community to assist current counselling initiatives as well as the South African Police force.
